225g/ 8oz tart cooking apples
30ml/2 tbsp water
15ml/1 tbsp butter
45ml/3 tbsp Apple Cinnamon Chardonnay Jelly
optional : thin strips of lemon rind
1) Peel, quarter, core and thinly slice apples.
2) Place apples in a pan with water (and optional lemon rind).
3) Cook gently, stirring frequently until pulpy.
4) Remove optional lemon rind, beat apples until smooth.
5) Stir in butter and add Wine Jelly to taste.
